Learn how to deliver results, not coffee.

Being an intern at Boelte-Hall is more than just completing a graduation requirement. You won’t be changing lightbulbs or fetching coffee (unless it’s for yourself) here. Our interns gain experience and skills in a variety of areas including: customer service, electronic composition, printing (of all sorts), marketing, cross-channel campaigns, and more. Needless to say, you won’t be bored.

At the end of each summer we sit down with our interns to discuss what they learned, if their internship experience was what they expected, and what we can do to improve the experience for future interns. We want our interns to gain hands-on experience within the industry in order to walk away with valuable skills that will later help them earn their dream jobs.

Here’s how it works

Ralph Cowman, our Administrative Manager, visits local universities as well as the College of the Ozarks, the University of Central Missouri, and Pittsburg State University, early in the spring semester. Students are welcome to chat with Ralph during career fairs at the Boelte-Hall booth. Ralph will set up interviews with 10-15 students for the following day. Select students are then invited to Boelte-Hall for a tour and a second interview. The student(s) chosen for internships are then contacted soon after. Ask Our Interns

“My time as an intern with Boelte-Hall was very influential on the work I do as a Project Coordinator for Group360. I truly have a much greater understanding of many print processes as I helped work on those machines first hand, and also how to manage and follow a job all the way through prepress.” – Mike Beard

Future Employment

Four of our previous interns are currently employed at Boelte-Hall. AimeeKatie, Abbey, and Nick completed their student internships at Boelte-Hall. Past interns are always encouraged to stay in contact with us in case a full time employment opportunity comes up.
